Actually im surprised fighting games story mode got expansion. Is it even worth it since ppl are just gonna watch it on YouTube since there are really not much of a gameplay for this kinda mode.

I appreciate story mode dlcs very much more than challenges, gauntlet, training room, boss battles dlc. I've learnt to lower my expectations in this gen gaming. Any story dlc that last 45mins to 1hrs is awesome and non story dlcs in a season pass masked with fancy words to disguise its lacklustre content is shit.

Am I wrong that the MK11 story dlc adds new playable characters like the warlock voiced by Cary Hiroyuki Tagawa, and Robocop? Or is that another DLC?

DLC include story mode and 3 additional characters. Previous DLC pack is 6 characters.

You can buy the characters individually. Unless they removed this option, ppl are gonna just buy the characters and watch the story on YouTube since for fighting game story mode, you just fight one match and watch a cut scene and fight another match rinse and repeat. With all that said, nether realms do have the talent to write good story for both mk and injustice. So I'm glad about it. But I'm still pissed with what they did to evil raiden previously. Wtf...

Funny they got time to remaster mafia 2 for ps4 but no time to take out expired licensed songs from the ps3 version dlcs and relist it.
