Btw this ps+ ver of ff7r is ps4 only. No ps5 ver included.

There is a free upgrade to PS5 with the PS4 Plus version. The PS5 version is also the remake master aka FF7R Intergrade if I'm not mistaken, if going by the State of Play video.

Still quite surprised that this big game managed to make it into plus after like maybe 10 months after release?

After the hype faded, it now sits at 8.2 metacritic user score. In my book it's a 7/10 at most. It plays like ff15, "that look good" like ff15, story padding like ff15 but not as well received as ff7r While ff15 gave us alot more content. In most area, ff15 royal edition is a far more well done game compared to ff7r. I think now maybe more people who haven't played it know what it is so it isn't selling like hotcakes anymore. Thus it is time to be in psplus and can help promote ps5. Price also dropped to $40 in amazon for quite some time liao. Today revert back to $70+

I thought ff7r can stack trophies. Only one stack.
The user reviews can trust one meh? I thought ff7r had gained controversy ever since it was announced to be episodic. Which is the reason why I didn't wanna buy the game. And I believe there are some terrorist gamer who review bombed the game for this reason. And also some haters from the other camps who always complain that exclusive games are anti consumer. Lol...

Walao you compare with ffxv Royal Edition a bit unfair leh. It consist of post launch contents.

Ff7r sold 5 millions copies on a single platform. I would think it's not bad but then Dunno whether it's enough to make a profit for square.

Nintendo still the best. Low budget games can sell at least 10+ million copies only on a single platform and best part is the game will sell at day 1 price for the next 2 decades. Lol...

Even the standard edition ff15>ff7r. It's only unfair to compare both if ff7r was priced at half of a full retail game during launch or $40 maximum. But they want to sell you 1 episode bloated up with fillers as a full game, full price so it's fine to compare That's alright if it actually is an awesome game but it falls short. You get a long corridor after corridor button mashing experience which sometimes look damn good but sometimes not with a kingdom heartsy plot towards the end. Nostalgia played a big part in that number. Btw I paid full $70+, almost got deluxe for $120. Glad I didn't.

Actually not just cos of the game being episodic. The demo didn't really sold me on the game. Somehow the combat in the game didn't click for me.

If you don't like ff15 combat, you won't like ff7r cuz it's the same combat system. So I kinda feel some are being hypocrites or they are wearing nostalgia glasses when they praise ff7r and shit on ff15. I mean be fair man. I'm also not a fan of ff15 bro team.

Actually episodic started way back in ff13? It took 3 games to perfect it.
