Dear fellow SGamers,

Due to the rapid growth of the website, we have negotiated with the site owner and he have agreed to relinquish his position of site owner.

Yes, we are pleased to announce that scuzzybum & arcana75 are officially the new site co-owners of SGamers! Having said that, we would like to clarify that we are a hobbyist site created for the local gaming community. We are not backed by any commercial entity, and thus, by and large, our roles in the site remains the same. We are still only working on the site during our free personal time.

At this point, we wish to also state a disclaimer: The site owners (arcana75 and scuzzybum) are gamers with individual views and opinions, just like any other gamers out there. The views expressed in their posts are their own and do not represent the views of the site, Any official correspondent will be posted with the this ('admin') account.

During this transitional period, we will be looking for a new site host.

Well, good news comes in pairs and we are also pleased to announced that savarios999 have joined as a global moderator!

Following will be the list of volunteers currently helping the site:
- Skrairgee (Global Moderator)
- savarios999 (Global Moderator)
- azlanslayer (Designer)

We are always looking for more volunteers so please let us know if you are interested!

In the mean time, we have identified some areas of improvements:

- Clans / Guilds / Crews that are not actively using their sub-forums for discussion.
To promote more discussions, we will be charging an annual SGP (which can be easily earned through discussing!) fee to maintain their sub-forum space.

- Local big forums are using vBulletin as their forum platform.
We might be holding a donation run to help with this as the cost is pretty substantial.

- Consolidation of in-forum activities.
Due to the creation of SGP, many activities like quizzes, donation drive, have turned up. We will be creating a new sub-forum to hold any SGP-related activities and tournaments.

Thank you all for your support thus far, and hope to have your continued support!
